I have a small garden and have arthritis which makes it difficult for me to bend down. I like to grow plants in containers as that is easier for me

Back from my trip to New York. Garden not too bad in my absence. Was desperately in need of water. Better than I feared

I had a great time with my daughter son in law and 7 children celebrating the Jewish festival of tabernacles. Was mostly at home with them but I did make it to the Brooklyn Botanical gardens. Walked all the way there (around 7 blocks) and all the way back which was very hard for me as I have arthritis in my knees. Was in tons of pain when I got back, but was well worth it although we only managed to see about a quarter of it. We have free passes for next time though as part of it was closed 😀

Oh sounds like the pain was worth it. We are going for a week and staying in Manhattan. It says there are 15 botanical gardens in New York hope to see a couple. X

Agree with Barbara, it's fab. Go first thing in the morning if you can, join it around 30th Street and walk along it to Chelsea Market where you can get breakfast. @jaynehynesburton

Seeds were free from amateur gardening magazine. Most of my plants were grown with the free seeds 😀
