Help me please .. something is eating my Magnolia. I cannot see anything on the plant. It happened last year too but it seemed to be okay this year until last week .. any ideas ?

Looks like slugs or snails, could always put some slug pellets around the base, or if you get hedgehogs use egg shells around the base :))))

@lilolill it could also be sawfly. Check to see if there are any tiny little caterpillars, they will decimate a plant in no time at all. It is looking like slugs and snails as well as in the pics there is snail/slug trails on the leaf. Good luck 😊🙏🏼👍🏼

Thanks @cactusboy123 @pixierose I will do a thorough check and put some slug repellent around the plant. I might move too as it is next too a higher standing bush that the slugs may be using as a ladder !!

I am so happy. This was a present last year but was just bare twig .. this year I have two big flower buds and three small .. happy days :♧
