@cyndi @lisa530 I've chosen to use sand to tell these pests in my garden and containers. I mix it in my Potting mix for a gritty affect for plants and gnats. Also,I after I've planted a new plant..I place a thin layer over soil then on top of my mulch. I've found this to be the Best Method of Defense..lol!😉😊😁 I've used this method for yrs..it does work..it's a cheaper and cleaner and plants love and respond to it when growing seed to a full size plant. Also, anywhere in your yard that may hold water,as in a low lying area,take sand and throw it around in the area. Not alot,u don't want to give homes to other insects,u just want to b able to see a thin layer inthe area. I myself will also throw it outside my flowerbeds and around in my garden...I CANT STAND THESE BUGGARS...I can't stand working outside and having them flying in or around me... Let us know how it goes😀
