27 may 2018 • #help! i need #advice! like my graptoveria amethorum, my graptosedum california sunset is dropping leaves daily at this point and i don't know why. i'm working with sunlight rather than growlights with succulents for the first time ever and having a hard time!

swipe and look at it only 4 days ago and you'll see what i mean 😫 but still it keeps making new rosettes.

@KelsiBriana yes they definitely are draining fine! i'm new to using top dressing as well. i'm used to looking at the soil color to know when it's dry, but now i can't use that as an indicator, which would be fine if i wasn't simultaneously bringing succulents outside for the first time and throwing things off even further. someone suggested using a wooden stick which i'm going to try!

5.4.18 wish it'd turn red but it's really happy i think. putting out several new heads! and now it has more room to grow

Yeah mine lost all their red after I got them. They’re pretty happy and growing strong though. Probably just not enough sun or they aren’t stressed enough.
