What do i do with this now all the flowers have gone??

#advice-lily Wait for it all to die down. The leaves provide energy to the bulb for next year's flowers. If leaving in the ground apply fertiliser and water in well.

@loopylauz ......I deadhead then let them die back naturally. Mine are all in pots so I can place them out of sight when they've finished flowering :)

Same advice applies generally to all bulbs.

Dead head the stalk where the flowers have been and take down to the top leaves otherwise you are feeding the seed heads and not the bulb you want the plant to feed the bulb for a better flush next yr ☺

Beautiful! I just bought some bulbs and I can't wait when it starts flowering! Not sure if it's going to flower this year?

Not a pro but I'm not sure they will I bought mine as plants just before the heads started to grow and that was about 3 months ago. Fingers crossed for you though I'm going good to try and do stuff from seed next next year just need a little green house thing 😆
