Thank you #nej now I remember it is Brown Turkey fig.....,the other fig tree I have has 'black' in the name, but they're nowhere ripe yet....tree's loaded too tho. Anyone know which is best for jam? These brown turkey Figs are perfect eaten fresh & with a light blue cheese! Yum 🙏

These figs look very similar to black genoa.

How are these even growing in UK?

@no_akira they're growing in Queensland Australia 🤗 the black Genoa has finished fruiting now & the brown Turkish fruit, (or Violetta de Bordeaux) is ripening now. Beautiful fruit!

You know I'm still picking these Figs! Yesterday after work they were still warm from the sun & heavier & juicier & sweeter after even just 21ml of rain... I couldn't resist I just ate some right there under the tree before they even made it to the table! Yum. 🤗
