My citrus is so out of wack. Fruit is ripening and plants are blooming now too. So weird. I think it’s the major temp swings. Not sure if that’s happening in your area by the coast. 🧐

I think it's happening all over the planet @philstalder -- I saw a rose blooming this week. In December! In Zone 6! But the sprouted lemon seeds are a whole new level of #weirdness

My roses are blooming right now too. And record breaking heat. Today it was 83. Usually the last spurt is in Oct. @emch

I just ate an avocado last week that had a sprouted seed in it..? So weird, never seen such a thing. I cleaned it off and put it in water, and I'm hoping it makes an actual plant, despite having been in the fridge for a week. 🤞😩 The sprouted lemons are super weird, tho. Never seen that before. My plants have also been all screwy here in Phoenix, AZ. Ppl are flipping out bc saguaros have been blooming.

@kelsey92, our area has an agricultural lock down on propitiating citrus from existing plants because of the Asian citrus psyllid insect that carries a bacterial disease called huanglongbing that is fatal to citrus trees. Good idea though. 🤗😷

That's bizarre! Only seen this happen with a tomato.

Did you use vodka or grain alcohol/everclear? Everclear is so strong I dilute my limoncello 50/50 with simple syrup, but I love the bite that the grain alcohol gives. 😎

This little tree is so wonderful! It supplies lemons for us as well as three neighbors year round. It is never without fruit! @gjones @KariSamuel @jennilm

I keep my lemon trimmed to about 6' tall. It flowers twice a year so there are almost always lemons on the tree.

You have perfect weather down there, usually😍. I miss SoCal😢. I grew up down there. Went to Capistrano Valley High School for 2 years, before I moved north to Sacramento and finished at Folsom HS.
