Almost out. If the rain holds off im hoping they will all be out and open when I come home from work. But sadly I expect the rain will destroy them. #rose #scented

Growing well with lots of flower buds. I should have a fantastic display this year providing it doesn't rain just as they open.

Just for you @jyotu I hope.this is ok.

Wow that's growing nicely in your garden 😍 #rose

It has @jyotu I'm amazed at how well its done. I think it's the wet Welsh weather.

Lots of buds opening. Really hope the rain doesn't damage them.

Wow that's cool 😍 #rose

It has a fantastic scent @jyotu I would recommend it if you can get it. It is very prickly tho but so worth getting scratched occasionally.

I want some climbing roses too, but that's rare here, I've never seen any climbing rose in front of my eyes. It seems like you planted it in a barrel, i want to see whole picture of plant 😍

It's in a large pot. I will try and get one and post it for you @jyotu

Okay 😊😊😊

Looking forward to these opening shes put out a lot of new growth so far. #rose #davidaustinroses

My favourite rose 🌹

Mine to @anges although she is a bit on the prickly side.

😁 but we can forgive her that 🌹 😁

Oh yes @anges we can after all who she was named after was apparently also prickly

Was she? 😁 I know you shouldn't judge a book by its cover but .... I'm not surprised 😀

She does look formidable but I love her gardens

Have you been to Lindisfarne/Holy Island? That's the only one I've been to 🌹

Yes I have and hestacomb and castle drogo and a couple of others I cant remeber the name of. The NT are half cursing her because of the seed she shot into the cliff and embankment the castel is on. They have to go abseiling to deal with the plants @anges

@anges drogo and hestcomb are both fairly near where my parents live

Oh no! She sounds great! Might have to read about her - Margery Fish sounds a bit like her 😀

I'll have a Google 👍🌹

@lydiastirling - Hi & thank you for following me. It's fun to have you aboard! How long have you been with GT? I'll bet you could teach me a thing or 2 & that would be just fine with me. What kind of climate do you have where you are? I have very hot & humid right now & we will be glad when the rains come. Well, have a happy journey with us, and keep in touch! 🌴🌺🐾

Hi @cschulz02 ive been with GT about 18 months i think. Im still learning lots and having fun expermenting. I live in a fairly cool and wet climate winters here can get down to about -5 to -10centigrade but are normaly around freezing and summer up to 30 centigrade but its normaly 20 to 25 centigrade its also fairly wet here all year round. It will be intresting to see the diffrent kinds of plant you can grow outside compared to here. 🌳☘

Lovely rose 🌸😍

Thank yoy

It grew a lot in one year 😍

@jyotu it has the other rose I brought at the same time grew even more. I will try and get a photo of it up either tonight or tomorrow. Its called wollerton old hall it is a climber even if it's a small one, so I suppose I should expect it to get big.

👍
Mostly out now. A wonderful #rose filling the garden with delicious #scent
