Morning all, not been around for a while as I lost my mum and my motivation but back on it now trying to have a sort out in the garden. Gertrude has lots of lovely blooms for me 💕

Your lucky to only have a touch of it at this time of year. I just pick the leaves off then ignore it hoping it will go away 😂

I saw this rose plant once whilst on a trip to a local botanical garden. I will never forget it's beautiful scent. One day I will get one for myself :-)

This is so nostalgic for me. I grew up in a house in London, the garden of which had been designed by GJ. My parents found the plans and restored it. Think I might grow this rose...

I love this rose and have it in my garden too. Do you find that it generally only flowers for a short time? If mine has a second flowering it's usually quite a feeble one 😔

@bluebell66 yes I agree, I have three David Austin roses but this one flowers for the shortest time, I thought it had finished a few weeks ago then this new flower came out but it is quite a big bloom
