My plants look so much happier on my sunny window sill ...at my old apartment they were crammed and lighting was horrible. Once we moved into our first home not only did it do me good mentally but my plants look happier as well. 😊 #aloes #jadeplant #succulents #happyplants

Look at all the room they have to stretch out! I'm happy for them, but even more happy for your heart and soul and emotional well being! Spread your wings too! 😚 #morespace #windowsill

This is one of my many Aloe Vera plants. I own four and these are the only ones I have had full success in growing. #aloeplants #houseplant #aloe

@mardel. I have a lot of experience with aloe vera. I live in the Arizona desert, where aloe Vera grows easily. They tolerate full sun. Temps from 36 degrees up to 110 degrees +. They prefer well drained soil and want to dry out between waterings to cut down on root rot. Aloe Vera can be grown indoors. They can get large but are easy to maintain. 1 negative- they see a food source for mosquitoes. Many positives- for burns and many other medicinal purposes.

@iammusictx Great tips but I do have a question. One of my Aloe started having these black spots on its under leaves, I've tried scraping them and I don't think it's an insect. The only problem I have with that Aloe is that it stopped growing. I have done to it what I do to the other aloes so not sure what u should do, any tips? Thanks

@madel, I found a link that may be helpful. The spots are most likely damage from mealy bugs. http://homeguides.sfgate.com/care-aloe-plant-dark-spots-94444.html

@iammusictx Thanks for the article, I don't see any signs of infestation it may be because I was Watering them to often. Thanks for sharing
