2nd flush on it's way. Counted about 6 flowers on the way. This one is the most advanced #magnolia #secondflush

Never seen what looks like a 2nd flush of flowers 🤔 It did not flower very well in spring. Looks like the #magnolia has benefitted from the blood and bone feed a few months ago. Will keep an eye on it

I have Red Lucky and it does say that you can have a second flush. Maybe worth a Google 👍👍

@pelly apparently it can be possible if temperatures are cooler in mid summer to have a 2nd flush. Summer has certainly been intermittent over the last few weeks..🤔

@Emma915Jones I've got mine in the front garden quite an open position that gets partial shade from a tree next door. My parents have theirs in a shady spot all afternoon up against a wall and it's doing extremely well. Seems to do well where ever they are put.

Planted late summer last year. I've mulched a few days ago once tulips and daffs die back I'll see it properly. Any special care I should be giving it, so it thrives?
