Aruncus dioicus

This perennial is great coping with shade. It's arching plumes of tiny creamy-white flowers really shine out in a shady corner. But watch out for the Aruncus Sawfly which can defoliate a plant over night! 😞

I saw this when I went to a little village that opened their gardens. Loved it. Do you think it would grow under conifers ?
