Bees on privit. Mostly you see this shrub pruned. 20 years ago it had so many bees and butterflies you could hear the buzzing in the house. Now maybe 100 bees visiting and no butterflies at this time

Once every few years we prune out largest stems. Most are pruned to shapes and you never get to have the beautiful sweet smelling flowers. All my bees say don't prune @columbiariver

There are masses of privet around here. You can smell them as you drive down the roads. They are part of the Tennessee spring
