Wow supper cool re death mask. I first heard about them from dan browns dantes inferno(book). I think it is a lovely lost tradition. Altho a lil freeky

Hey @kristina2 yup, you have to have a strong stomach put it that way... I’m old school handed down to me from a lovely gent 35 years ago. Yeh Dan Brown still need to read inferno. First ones very close to home re Rosalyn chapel I used to play there as a kid, we had some cool party’s there. But Mr Brown has changed history slightly there.. The chapel has never been templers related, the exact opposite in fact. The St Claire’s are very cool family.

😂😉 - I noticed the leaf shapes look similar to my crocosmia and I saw in an earlier pic it was growing from a bulb - not sure what specific one it is and would prob need to wait till it flowers. What do you reckon? 🤔

Could be around end of July early August. If they are scarlet red then it potentially could be Crocosmia 'Lucifer' , although there are a number of shades/varieties of red for these plants.
