Begonia (Rex Cultorum Group) syn. Begonia rex

These are ther two #begonias i saved side by side #foilage different yet the same.

Help me identify this plant. Could it be #begoniarex. I got this plant for free with the weekly food donations they sometimes bring plants or flowers. I just watered and it came back to life.

All I can tell you for sure, is that it is a begonia

It's an escargot begonia. I have one as well. Yours looks great!

Are the escargot begonias and coleus the same thing @hihihoho

@Shasha200521 they arent the same plant but they look similar! The coleus have a much more symmetrical leaf while the begonia tends to have one half that is larger than the other half of the leaf. The escargot begonia's asymmetrical leaf is even more exaggerated because it can whirl (reminiscent of a snail shell whirl).
