Can anyone tell me what is wrong with my hedge these patches of dieback are spreading quickly, the hedge is 8ft high and 20 ft wide at front of house. Am l going to have to scrap it?

Hi there. Sadly Leylandii hedges start dying off after about 20years or sooner if conditions are not right. There is not a lot that can be done although there is special hedge spray paint available that can cover the dead patches and make them look green until the die off completely when they will need replacing.
