There are so many to choose from Deborah @jerseylily . Do you have any favourites? I've got 2 herbaceous and 2 tree peonies . There are 3 Golden rules for Peonies : 1) not to plant to deeply , 2) choosing a sunny spot and 3) having fertile , free draining soil. For best and quick results I would recommend you should choose a pot grown peony (at least 3lt-5lt pot) . Bare root ones can take years to establish before they start flowering freely. Still haven't had any flowers on one of Tree Peony.
