This monster vine is on everything! The electric lines; strangling the blueberries; taking over the ground. What is it? Is it edible? Should I kill it?
Possibly Kiwi? I'd cut the vine back where it is strangling other shrubs
I had no idea kiwi grew anywhere other than New Zealand. I went and read about the differences between kiwifruit and hardy kiwi. That would be so cool if this were hardy kiwi! If it were cooler, I'd go out now and cut it off the blueberries. It'll have to wait until tomorrow morning. Thanks, @kathy !
@kathy Not kiwi, but kudzu! Noooo! The leaves looked just like a kiwi vine. I was so excited!! Now I'm horrified. This explains the pine tree that's being smothered and the electrical lines I keep having to free. I thought kudzu was only in Texas.

The kiwi vine is starting to bloom! I'm really hoping for some deliciousness from this plant, as much trouble as it is. It takes over everything! I'll free a plant from its smothering embrace only to find the vine reaching out for its prey from a nearby perch. It has runners under the ground, making it almost impossible to get rid of. I'm very close to declaring full-scale war on this plant. Depending on how tasty it is.
Oh my gooses, this is NOT a kiwi vine, it's kudzu!! No wonder it's murdering everything and I can't get rid of it! No no no!! Nothing for me to eat here. If I stay still, the vine might eat me!
