I don’t know the name of this one. It’s so dark but very beautiful. (I love orchids lolz 😂)
It almost looks like a Colmanara Wildcat 'Bobcat' but it’s not quite the same
@pixierose @cyndi look it up and compare in person.
Best guess is Oncostele Wildcat 'Golden Red Star'
Thanks GT family friends 😁🙏🏼
Beautiful
@jlsardina I was just about to ask if you knew this one but see you’ve already told me. Thank you 🙏🏼😊

Not sure of the name but I forgot this little beauty showed it’s face as I was leaving home the other week. I’ll have lots of blooms hopefully to go home to as a lot of my orchids were about to flower.
How is your back 🤔
@charlotte thanks for asking. I’m still pretty sore and only have a certain range of movement I’m allowed to do while the screws set. But patience is a virtue my granny told me. So wait I will and then we shall see. 😊🙏🏼🌺

This is the orchid with the 3 big bulbs. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. 😊🙏🏼
I’ve been known to rip off a bulb from street trees. The council plants trees on@the nature strip outside everyone’s house. Old owners have filled the forks. 😇
@Sussanah where do you live to be able to do this? Is it not illegal to take wild flowers 💐 where you live?
It’s not a wild flower. Just a bit of “light pruning” from one tree that is essentially public property. I’ll send you a pic so you can see. I live in a very sleepy old suburb of Brisbane Australia. Some of the trees and plants have outlived original owners
@Sussanah ahh I see. Light pruning lolz 😂 I like that 😁🙏🏼👍🏼
@pixierose Start with more water. Looks dehydrated.
@Christos I spray them everyday with rain water is that not enough?
@pixierose From your picture I say the plant needs more water.
@Christos ok thank you I will give it a water bath tomorrow. Again thank you for the advice it’s much appreciated 😊🙏🏼
@pixierose Is that the one with the dark red flowers with yellow ?
@Christos yes that’s the one.

This year I have 3 flower spikes am so pleased 😁 Wondering when to split as there are 3 huge bulbs and the pot is overflowing. I’d hate to upset it.
@pixierose Never. Let the plant to grow as a nice specimen.
@Christos I’m confused as a year ago you said to split the plant after flowering and now you’re saying never?? Should I just leave it as it is? Thank you 😊🙏🏼
@pixierose I don't remember if it was that plant or not. That's why I say never. You want more growths and more flower spikes next year or not? Normally we split our plants if they are huge. Thee pseudobulbs it is ok, but not huge.
@Christos yes it was that plant but if you advise not to split I will take your advise. Thank you very much. 😊🙏🏼

My giant flower spikes, probably will bloom when I’m in hospital next Wednesday 13/12/17 eeeek 🙈😲
@linfoster I use the orchid food that comes in the black square bottles. I have a spray bottle and I put a bit of each black bottle in and make a potion fill up with rain water and spray Daily in the summer alternating with the food and just plain rain water. Now I water less as they would get too wet. Others say to dunk them in a bath of water once a week but I find just spraying is enough for mine as I’m spraying the roots. I’ll be in a couple of days but recovery is a long time. Thanks Hun

1st flower spike. The other one was hiding when I'd taken this picture. Not sure what type of orchid it is. I thought I'd put it on before but a whole load of plants in my profile seem to have disappeared. Anyone else have this problem? 🤔
Well done. This is a type of Oncidium but we must wait to see her with her flowers.
@Christos she has the dark red flowers, the picture I put previously. I got her to flower last year and she produced 2 bulbs and 1 side has flowered. Am I supposed to split the new bulbs off and plant in their own pot. Thanks Christos 😊🙏🏼

Just loving this one such deep colouration.
Beautiful with the yellow edges 😍
@kez001uk Isn’t it just? I see something different about it all the time. Flowers are so amazing. 😊
Gorgeous color!
@pixierose they certainly are! And a great distraction for you right now too ☺️
@kez001uk very much so. 😊👍🏼
