I love gardening, particularly wildlife and GYO. I have an addiction when it comes to buying plants. I only wish I could spend more time indulging!

Morning everyone! Have a great day. So cold out there this morning ❄️. I thought I’d put a photo of a newly built snail drive-thru in my garden 🐌 #hosta #takeawaytuesday

😁 Mine are surrounded by pellets. I can see slug slime around the outside of the pellets so they're definitely doing the trick🤞

@rbetts25 Lolz 😂 @ the drive through! So funny 😆 I have breeding hedgehogs 🦔 in my garden so can’t use pellets but I’ve recently discovered what farmers use on their crops. Diatomaceous earth is amazing, it’s a powder but gritty. The snails and slugs hate it. You can use it all over for many bugs (not the worms) but bees and good bugs so you have to be careful. I’ve put it under leaves and a bit down the hosta funnel where they love to hide and cause carnage before the leaf has even opened.
