10/10/18I have no doubt now this has got to be a #banana now I just need to wait and see what kind. Like I said this area was sugar cane and bamboo only and was cut to the ground through a misunderstanding. There was no banana tree. Nature is miraculous lol #bananatree #fruittree #gyo #growyourown guess this could be called a #volunteer

So guys I thought this area was ONLY previously #sugarcane (if you’d seen other posts workers cut it all down in a misunderstanding, sugar cane is all growing back though) . This is growing way different though?? Grows fast as hell, but need #helpid #plantid they said there was also #bamboo idk if that grows different #idhelp
Looks kinda like a banana tree.
@ohhyouknow that’s what we were thinking. This whole area was leveled unfortunately, and I don’t remember seeing one. Do you know if they can grow back if cut down so far? Or if they grow super fast? I’ve never owned one, but certainly didn’t think they sprouted up so quickly. I need to do some research... lol thanks for the help !
I have a few red banana trees and they do grow fast and also pup like crazy. I have never cut mine back though, so I can’t say if you cut this one back it’ll survive. You could def rip it out of the ground and put it in a pot until you figure out where you want it to go though.
Oh well the reason I ask was because IT must have been cut already when they cut down all be sugar cane. So I was surprised to see it growing if it had been cut. Sorry I’m terrible at explaining things lol I’m happy with it there it’s actually away from buildings aside from a shed. So I’d be happy to let it do it’s thing lol
