Leycesteria formosa. Photographed today, 16 June 2017, at Reedie Cottage Gardens, East Scotland. Also known as Himalayan Honeysuckle. Grows between 1-2m tall, and producing pendulous racemes of flowers 5-10cm long. Close-up of a new flower which opens white with purple bracts. Followed by purple-black berries in late Summer/early Autumn.
