@rennezoe I bought my cactus just to take the fake flower off and see how it went, so far so good, no new growth but it's been over a month and it's still looks the same.
I thought it was tied on but they used glue, and lots of it! Was hoping it'd grow out of the flower on its own. Sounds like maybe not anytime soon. @tay.nic
@rennezoe oh I know! Ridiculous amounts of glue. Some of its little spiny things came off while I was going at the glue. But heat up a little needle and that's the best way to pick it off.
@shnissstix this is mine. I was able to get the flower off with minimal damage. This is as bad as the spray painted succulents. Pretty amazing plants... Do they really need our help?!
The flower is the bract of Xerochrysum bracteatum, glued to a cactus!
