Hi @sara2309 - I leave mine to completely die off and rest over winter so I would just cut back any spent flowers for now and enjoy the foliage for the rest of the year. Shoots will always come from the base rather than from existing stems. You may even get a second flush of flowers. It also helps prevent any seeds spreading (unless that is the effect you are looking for). Be careful when you get the stems on this plant as you get milky sap which can be a skin irritant, so wear gloves 👍🏼

Thanks Richard, it has been a bee magnet this year. I have fallen completely in love with it. I will leave it a little longer before I remove flower stems as the bees are still all over it 😍

The mild weather is causing so many plants to come to life. I've got shoots of Toadflax popping up all over the place, not that I mind as the fresh greyish green #foliage is quite attractive 😊

I have this Richard. I love it and I have it everywhere too lol. I don't have a uniform garden. I just let plants do as nature intended even if it's in the wrong place ! 😂😂
