Not going dormant. Still quite active.

Stunning colours! I’ve seen this one for sale occasionally in the uk, and I’ve been tempted! They can be expensive though 🙄

Beautiful colours 😍

Thanks a lot @richard.spicer.7906 I agree that some red or pink Aeoniums are very dear🥲 however, Mardi Gras dropped in price about a year ago, eg., AUD$15 per sapling.

That sounds a good price. Just checked online and (if I convert to Aus dollars) they are averaging about AUD$35 at the moment in UK

@richard.spicer.7906 if you wait for another year (I know it's looong 😖), the same thing might have happened as here...Mardi Gras was very expensive a few years ago. Keep your fingers crossed😘

Here's an update after "unlocking" those closed rosettes. It seems that they're very happy, enjoying today's full sun 🌞🌞🌞

This rosette tightly curls up and haven't opened up at least for a few weeks. I thought maybe a bug or caterpillar would be inside, but the curled part seems empty. The curled part is also very hard. What's happening to this rosette?

I’m guessing a disease got to it. Something similar to a rose when it gets a witches broom, a deformity. That how the monstrose Cacti get their strange formation. 🌞

@sunlovin thank you for your advice! Do you think it's ok to leave as is or better to chop?

Slowly growing. One of the rossets curls up, rather than opens up, as if a bug is living inside. The clump is so hard so I can't open it🤔

Thank you @gjones I've got it just a few days ago. I wanted to add a RED variety to my Aeonium collection ❤️

@gjones around 11 types, a few plants per type. I'd like to have Sunburst, too💚💚💚 Many Aeonium plants grow into a medium to large size, so even a few of them can make us happy when they display colours BIG❤️
Stunning beauty wearing shiny raindrops like a dress 🩵🧡🩵
