It was so sick n sad at first. I took a mom plant that had gotten way big n was falling out of her pot, n tried to plant her babies etc n not sure what I did or if it was the trauma of it all but I was sure the babies were going to die right after and I did lose 2 of them, but I kept watering n feeding n trying with the others 🙏 & tada they're happy now 👏👏 anyone else ever forget that it's an aloe plant n treat it like a cactus? Oops yeah that one died many years ago 😅🤷🏽♀️ but I'm gettin
I had one I split apart and I thought I was watering too much and too much sun. So I moved them where there’s not so much sun and watered less. They happy now.
@5150oma yeah this one looks like it might outgrow this pot soon but I'm scared to split em up after what happened last time. These however are right on a window sill that gets a lot of sun 🤷🏽♀️ interesting how yours are happy with less sun n mine wanted more, I don't get it but whatever makes em happy 😊
I thought u did treat aloe like cacti? What's the difference?
@heatherdirtyhands well I didn't bother watering it hardly ever 😅 like a cactus would want or so I thought n it shriveled up n died.. these ones are loving water though, every week so 🤷🏽♀️ I guess it makes sense since they're full of aloe that they'd need the water 🤔😆
Oh. Where do u live? I barely water mine
@heatherdirtyhands NJ maybe I have a strange breed of aloe 😆
Maybe it needs repotted if the soil dries out that fast?
@heatherdirtyhands 😆 not sure i even look at the soil, I just realize it's Friday n water them all or as soon as I remember that Friday passed..oops
Omg it's out of control n needs more room, but I'm scared to transplant it n kill them all. Ughhh 🤦🏽♀️
They are very resilient
Don’t be afraid to replant. 👍🌞
