Euphorbia pulcherrima

I was planning on posting my new #poinsettia today, but I spent all day putting up 1,200 Christmas lights on my apartment and sat on this beauty in the process.. pooey! 🥺 I’m hoping to somehow make a cutting from it, so if anyone has any #advice, I would appreciate the #help These are the #lights I put up on the stairs, which is a little over half of the #christmaslights I put up. #red #white

@Annettenoosa did you have any success with your poinsettia propagation?

@dirtgirlworld you and Hanna seem to know a bit about #poinsettia-care can’t she propagate her broken limb. I’m thinking rooting powder and dome it somehow, it would have to be big enough to fit the limb and clear enough for sunlight. I’ve done this with many other plants. I know nothing about #poinsettia-care at all other than how water them properly. There kind of like #coleus and there easy

Thanks Maggie and Hanna @dirtgirlworld I took your advice and put it in water. It’s still in water. Should I leave it in there until it gets roots, or plant it?
