Leave them flat on top of the soil, Sarah and make sure it's dry. No need to mist with water until l'il roots appear. I covered my roots when the babies appeared. I'll post a pic for you.

I just laid mine on "top" of the soil until roots form, and I let the roots take hold of the soil. Maybe @lovestogarden @alovealoe @Muzz67 might have more (better) #advice ?

Also - they don't like strong light when rooting. A north facing window's fab!

They are in the corner of the conservatory so a bit of light. I didn't realise they didn't need water! A post would be very helpful thank you @beckers1974 !

Thanks @SikoMa that's what I have been doing but no luck!

Yes, like Rebecca and Dar have said, this is the way. Not all will take root, but most will. If they are inside with it too dry, a mist once a week can help, but too much, and they will rot. @beckers1974 @SikoMa ❤

I only got into succulents and cacti at the beginning of the year. Lost a few! Think they're glad it's spring and my focus is on the garden and they've got peace 😂
