I'm not sure what type of prickly pears these are, but I've had them a long time. Their names are John and Dave. They were glued together when I bought them at Walmart. All their top pads are new, and that one long skinny one. Will the skinny pads widen out? #opuntia #prickly-pear #cactus #cacti #new-pads
They might do. Some of my opuntia do, others don't. I wouldn't worry unless they struggle to support the upper pads.
