@Diane76 yes you do, they are the best thing I've found for clematis 😊

@Diane76 Diane they are called flower clips I can only get them from my local garden centre or online. Amazon do them and I think you can get them on eBay. I think also they are used for orchids

#buds these are covered in buds but I will cut them all back next weekend so they flower from bottom to top

I cut mine back last week but mulched them too 👌
