I live in the Shoalhaven area of NSW Australia. I love the garden and all of the wildlife that it attracts. Especially the birds.

Oh no didn't think of that. I covered my Meyer lemon with net to stop mr possum eating the leaves. Have I also stopped the bees. Looks like I have to do a dress at night and undress in the morning

I think that would be a good idea otherwise no lemons for you. I have never had possum problems with my lemon tree. @Shephes

Maybe it's not possums but something is nibbling the leaves and I have scoured the plant for bugs or grubs. Not a thing. Neighbours have mature trees that have similar signs of munching. All high up. So we thought possums

Good evening Sue, thank you I've made a very nice lemon curd cake, with fresh passionfruit in the centre with lemon curd mixed with mascarpone on three layer then lemon syrup on top layer with a little dusting of icing sugar 😋😳👌 but don't mention this to @drnicko or he'll start throwing bananas at me 😂 🙈

@lamaisonbleueoleron we make lemon butter for toast. It keeps very well in the fridge once opened. But we also make lemon curd for cheesecakes, fruit tarts and lemon meringue pie. 😋😋😋🍌🍌🍌🍌

I've start using preserve fresh lemons for fish dishes, a lemon chutney 😋 now your making me fell peckish. I enjoy making lemon curd baked cheese cake with with half curd milk and ricotta cheese 😋 it's less fat and also less sugar @drnicko 😉👍

My Meyer lemon, that we planted last year, flowered beautifully last season but we didn't get one fruit. I tried a strict fertilizing regime but to no avail. Any help would be most welcome. Thanks

Dig all around the base, do not put fertiliser closer than 8" from stem. I started off only getting 1 or 2 then gradually more each year but once fully established I got more than I can use. I think you are doing everything right and I am sure it will come good @kittya
