Ive also uploaded a close-up of the flower if this bush. It was planted 2 years ago during landscaping but, although attractive, it is now tall and weighty in its current position against a brick wall. Do i prune and, if so, when?
Morning @susanjaleel, looking at the closeup of the flower, it might be a type of Leycesteria (Himalayan Honeysuckle). They look very similar, where the flowers are covered by distinctive bracts. Does it develop into berries after flowering?
Hi Susan 👋 probably best to prune back immediately after flowering. They do tend to like a sheltered wall so it's probably liking its spot against that wall.
Help me identify this plant

Thanks both, I'm grateful.
