@sunlovin I didn't. They're "mutt" seeds and I prefer to grow known varieties.

You might have to buy them from another country and import them. If you look on Instagram, there are a lot of sellers in Thailand. You'll have to check your country's import requirements, or you could order seeds and grow your own. OzLithops.com in Australia is a reputable seller and their mixed seeds would be a great way to start out. @jyotu

I think my plant is pregnant!!! The top of the flower stalk is bulging out horizontally in a way that my definitely-not-pollinated other #lithops flowers are not, so...... 😁 I bought the plant that made the pollen and he bought me this one, so it's kind of our first offspring since we have no kids or pets. A little bit role-reversed, and the hand pollination counts as "reproductive assistance," but we're overjoyed with our ripening capsule of joy. 😉 💑🍼🌱 28 Sep 2018

How much water and light do you give them? My butts aren't doing anything

Well, I've had these since early this year (Dec and Feb) so they've had time to acclimate to the environment in my apartment. They live on my southwest facing windowsill and they get light from about noon-6pm. Now that it's almost fall I'm watering about every other week. After they bloom, no water till spring. @MaltipooMom

@MaltipooMom how long have you had yours? Did they come with good roots?

@sushiwaitress I've had most of mine since probably june just got a few more this past weekend too. Yes i think roots were good. I lost a couple due to overwatering and one my 5 year old grand daughter pulled our of the pot and then crammed it back in lol the others are doing ok i guess not splitting or anything but at least still alive!

This guy (miraculously) survived my "lithops n00b" period when I was afraid to water them. I'm seeing some stretching down between the leaves.... @mollyocean it was super fun to watch him change leaves. I observe them all obsessively, and I'm so glad GT lets me scroll back in time to see my plant change. I take pictures of them a couple times a week. Salty here will probably stay like this until he changes leaves again next spring. I'm wondering though if he'll flower this autumn. He might be old enough but I only got him in December so I can't predict.

This #lithopssalicola is not from Mesa Garden, and it's also quite a bit younger, so it didn't have as much of a one-day change. Even though Mr. Salty is clearly in the process of changing leaves, I gave him one spray of water today (28 Feb 2018) because 3 of my original 13 Christmas-present lithops have died due to UNDERwatering and I don't want him to be next! Hopefully a few drops will stimulate some root development. I should also unpot him and take a peek at his roots while there's still...
