Morning @lesliecole49 apparently they are weeds that are impacting and taking over from our British variety as they are very invasive and are being cross pollinated with our English variety by the bees. The advice I've had on here is to remove them asap. Some think it's too late! Someone sent me a good article last year. Will try and find the link for you.
Shame on you gardeners, lol, it is a shame also, to lose a pure type. I don't know if Texas bluebells are Spanish or what, but I'm sure the Texans would be upset if they lost them to an invader. (I'm not from tx)
