A weed really and a poisonous one at that but it's pretty so I let some stay.

Is this the same as deadly nightshade? It's a beautiful flower... I once picked some for my mum when I was little and she freaked out at me screaming 'wash your hands' lol... Happy days 😂

@harebell it's not the same as Deadly Nightshade (Atropa belladonna) which is a more shrubby plant with larger, solitary bell-shaped flowers followed by berries that resemble black cherries. However this species is very frequently incorrectly called Deadly Nightshade.

Oh yeah... Deadly nightshade is more bell like I remember now... It's a shame that the most beautiful of flowers happen to be the most poisonous 😁
