Northern lights azalea for our region is foolproof as for Rhodies, not a total hardy variety yet, this one is in a shaded corner and I do nothing special, that's why it took so long people will baby these along with burlap bud protectors not me, the late thaw and decent amount of snow protected the buds this year @gjones
