Evening, anyone know what this bud type thing is growing- it's not a new "leaf" as that's different and this is on a much longer stem- is it something I need to remove? I've had this months now and it seems green, healthy and putting on new growth 😬

Looks like it's going to flower. After flowering the plant can get 'exhausted' and appear dull or maybe die (I read this online), however it appears too late to cut the stem off now it's almost ready to flower. Research online and see what you think, good luck with it!
