From the kitchen it appears we have an orange tinged camellia (plus an orange tinged 🐈). Up closer there are so many flowers, with new ones still coming, that some of the older ones are dying off. 10th April 2019 #decaying #camellia #colourcoordination #bennie

Colour coordinated plants and pets. Now that’s stylish! 😻

Peak Camellia. 27th March 2019
First white #camellia of the year. Seems a bit earlier than usual
Stunning 😍
I would have pegged this as a hollyhock!
That’s gorgeous 😍 Any idea which one it is? 🤔
I don’t know @jacaranda Probably either Jury’s Yellow https://www.suttons.co.uk/flower-plants/all/camellia-japonica-plant---jurys-yellow_297179 or Brushfield’s Yellow https://www.burncoose.co.uk/site/plants.cfm?pl_id=699 They are very similar but my guess would be Brushfields - the outer petal shapes are more rounded like mine
@tombr lovely soft colour, I have this one and it’s buds are just bursting so yours is earlier than mine. We need more sun! I love it when the Bush is covered in creamy flowers.
Thanks Tom. I’ll look them both up 👍
Having looked at both online, Tom, I agree with you that Brushfield’s Yellow is the best match. 👍 Is yours Brushfield’s Yellow, Joyce? 🤔 @joycemb
@jacaranda I know it’s something yellow so could well be Brushfields I bought mine in Devon from a local grower a long time ago. I will post a pic once it’s fully out and show you. I always think of it as cream.
I look forward to seeing yours, Joyce 😀 @joycemb
