Acer Palmatum 'Atropurpureum'

Almost #red Most my acers have recovered well after last years heat. I thought they were fried

The only plants I have left in #pots are my #acers 🍁🍁🍁 New growth looking odd after the late frosts this year

Mine are all in pots, it restricts the size and you can move them around, mind you, I'd need a crane for the bigger ones 🍁🍁🍁

This #acer got hit by a very late frost this year. I now have new leaves appearing which makes it look very odd as the leaves in the background have changed colour already 🍁

I've new ones on mine too Julie just come over last week or so 😃

Very true Julie and we did this year so maybe stunted it for a bit 🙂

Alot of mine crisped up and eventually fell off. I'd read that they do eventually regrow a new set but there are normally smaller and almost insignificant. Mine stick out like a sore thumb 😂😂😂 @Keely

Yes we have sun but also tree bending wind. Sitting out in my garden watching the trees getting battered on the riverwalk 😲 @jadojado29

It's funny how we all have our own particular plant group addictions...there's always one type of plant you can't help falling for and then the addictive collection begins and we just can't stop! 🙈😄

That's so true @TheGardenWife I have addictions to agapanthus, cannas, acers and phormiums. Bananas have taken my fancy now. Only got 3 so far .... 😀
