Monarda - or Bee Balm, or Bergamot - is a tall, upright growing flowering perennial, with flower heads that consist of many tubular flowers that are a magnet for bees. Leaves are mid green and aromatic. 'Gardenview Scarlet' has bright red flowers from mid Summer to early Autumn. It is more resistant to powdery mildew than most varieties.
