Oh dear. 😕 I don’t think the ammonia is good for it. I know my dog peed on a few of my plants outside, and they died. 😕. Maybe put plastic over the dirt and put some pepper on it @heatherdirtyhands

Oh I know it's bad. And it smells. I put a bunch of skewers in it sticking up out of the dirt and i haven't seen him in it since. Thankfully. I was so mad. He thought the thing was a giant litter box lol

I really want to get one but I heard they are fussy

I haven’t had problems with mine. I mean I get brown spots sometimes. I dust the leaves and mist it. I wait til it’s like almost dry and then I water it. My first one I still have I watered it too much and it started to get root rot. Now maybe every week. Maybe twice a week. I like how they look. 😄 @mardel

I was waiting and waiting. I loved it when I saw it. They were a little high in price for me. So I waited some more. And totally paid off. Home Depot had it for $17 instead of $40 like at Lowe’s. Or $80 one of the sights my hubs was looking at. @susanar

Did u have many leaves drop since u brought it home? I cut off a small baby stem with a decent amount of leaves to try to root up. Mine is so full i was so worried I would lose a bunch I brought it home during a wind storm and it was cold and I know they don't like drafts

No leaves have dropped. I did cut one off cause it was brown and crunchy. But that’s been it. @heatherdirtyhands

Yes I do.I thought the same thing. And then they tend to over water. So, when I got home I sprayed it with neem oil and the sprayed it off with the hose. Let it sit in the sunshine till the leaves dried. And brought her inside. She seems to be doing great. I even have a new little growth coming in. Lol. 😁🤗. @heatherdirtyhands
