Love bramleys ! I had two huge trees in my last garden but none now . I do miss them ! I have a couple of 'cookers' now in my present garden but they do not get any where near the flavour of a good old bramley!

Can anyone tell me how you know when they are ready to pick? They're a good size now 😊

My Mum used to say if you cup them in your hand and give a little lift they should break off easy. If you have to use too much pressure they are not ripe! #advice
