This is the stuff that is swamping my poor tree. As you can see it has small black berries. I have to awful feeling I am at least 20 years too late to save the tree😢

Is it ivy???

This the tree from another angle. As you can see it is being choked. Is there anything I can do at this late stage

One of two very sad, neglected old trees. One is battling something (planty type thing) swamping it, the other, is just battling old age and years of neglect! Any ideas on this blossom?

Is it apple? Looks very similar too mine.

I thought apple too. Do you have any idea what is swamping it (second pic)?

I'd say that's Apple too

Such a shame none are edible!
Why not ? Aren't they for cooking ? 😋
I could make quite a few apple pies with those! Lovely crop.
All rotten before they fall😢
