I am not #blue as my #hippeastrum has finally decided to start growing...
Mine too! Just leaves so far🤞
And mine! 😀
Still waiting for mine 🙄🙄
I thought it was just me 🙄 GT seemed to be full of gorgeous blooms over Christmas @joanboston @anges
Yours can’t be far behind Sarah 🤞@sieveheadsarah
One of mine is about the same as yours and one is a bit shorter. I only planted them early January 👍😉
Don’t tell me that Ange! 😉😂 I planted mine at the beginning of November 🙄 @anges
Oh right! 😯 First time growing them for me. I had them in my north facing kitchen at first but nothing much happened so I've moved them to the south facing bedroom windowsill & they have started to grow. Hopefully they'll continue! 😃
I hope you have better luck than last year Jacqueline 😊👍
Starting off seems erratic, I had one start within days of planting and one I’ve been waiting for since before Christmas!
I planted mine early December, it’s about six inches high now no sign of flower spike yet @awomanonabike
It may have taken its time but it was worth waiting for 🤍💕 #amaryllis
Oh that’s beautiful
Beautiful photo Jacqueline. Just like a still life
Love the red edging, it's beautiful 😍😍😍
Thanks Joan. How are you doing? Better I hope. That sunny dry day never materialised here. Did it with you? @joanboston
Thank you Nicola. The flowers are very photogenic 😉 @jendren
Me too Jane. It’s been so long since I potted it up I had completely forgotten what it was going to look like 🙄😂 @pelly
Oh that’s lovely Jacqueline 😍, by the way the bulbs you kindly sent me are starting to sprout 💚👍🏻😘
I noticed the same on mine too Julie @juliesgarden 😍👍
Thanks Julie, and that’s great to hear both of you. They were so teeny 🌱 @juliesgarden @pelly
Thanks Jacqueline , getting there but still coughing! We bought an amaryllis bulb on Manchester Christmas market, it has two lovely flower stalks but it’s definitely not the colour we were hoping for😂 it had been dry today but40-50 mph winds made it unpleasant outside
Yes. Love the edges too.
