Gardening on a small plot with an oak tree in one corner and trying to encourage more wildlife. Love visiting gardens and buying plants too!

So this was Amaryllis No 2 - two stems, so many flowers and maybe looking slightly top heavy 🤔. And if a plant looks slightly top heavy, it probably is and you ought to do something about it before it falls off the window sill snapping the blooms and stem off! ☹☹☹ #liveandlearn

Thanks ladies. It certainly was lovely until it toppled over! The soil went all over the cream carpet as well! Most of the blooms got damaged when it fell but I rescued a few and have them floating in a bowl but don't think they'll last long. @godfreye @anges @rachelbrooks @carolgs

I don’t think they do on the stem anyway Sue, so at least you still get to enjoy them! 😊

Morning everyone. This is Amaryllis No 1 - planted 15/12/18 and fully in flower this week. Never grown one before and it's been fascinating to watch it. Enjoy your day and stay safe in the storm.

Surprised myself to be honest, I just stuck it on a sunny window sill, watered every few days and turned it when the stem looked wonky! @rachelbrooks
