Hosta

I found an unidentified hosta under the poorly tree fern, so I’ve given it a wee feed and tucked it up in a copper ring so 🤞🤞🤞

May i ask by the copper ring x

Hi Lesley, they’re the best protection (in my experience) against slugs. I sometimes use crushed egg shells and also Strulch but I never use slug pellets in the garden @cropchopntrim

You have Jane though actually we did plant some hosta in this small, shady bed years ago but I thought we had lost them all - it’s a bed I’ve tended to ignore... 🙄 @pelly
