Turtle pot was an Xmas gift from me to me. I was planning on planting a cactus in it, but this happened instead. I had a pot of p. afra propagations from a couple years ago that needed to finally be properly dealt with, and one of them in particular was looking a bit like a tree. I figured turtle would make an adorable home for a little bonsai garden, and the tree is the first element.
The dowel is to help hold the "tree" in place until it settles in. I haven't decided yet whether I want to leave the branches drapey or trim it up shorter. Any thoughts??

Leave it drapey
It looks like a weeping cherry tree
I love the way it looks.
That turtle planter is everything 😻
