Lithops

Got nervous about the amount of organic material in that soil mix after I noticed it was really retaining a lot of water. Put them in a much grittier mix just up to the roots & filled the rest with pumice. Will add prettier top dressing once I’m sure I haven’t killed them! Rain is bringing humidity too so I think I’ll move them back inside. #lithops #mesembs #BUTTS 5/10/2019

5/5/2019 Repotted & watered. Hope it wasn’t too soon! I hadn’t watered or let them get wet at all since last autumn & the outer leaves seem almost gone. Might change this staging a bit & get some more mineral-heavy soil too. #lithops #mesembs #mimicryplants #livingstones #pleasedontdie
