@kimm the soils should be free draining so I mix allot of sand and stones into the soil. I also try not to water them often. I think that encourages root growth. Naturally I see allot of them grown near Oudshoorn in South Africa so I that climate is of course their ideal. Saying that thought this type looks to be doing quite well in London.
