Not only have I inherited a garden with a HUGE patch of ground elder, I also have horsetail cropping up bloomin' everywhere. Any tips on how to get rid??
I have this horrid stuff growing in my garden too. Only appeared once I turned the soil on my veg patch. Seems to be getting more and more common. Only owned my house for 4 months and not happy to have it
Gggrrrr, I have the same, read somewhere that Neurdorff concentrate works. I painted it on and certainly killed off anything showing in few days. It was the end of the season though so I don't know if it got down to the roots.
Don’t dig it out. That’s how it spreads the spores are on the roots. You have to use a commercial strength heavy duty weed killer and then strim it off at ground level it will die back into the ground it’s horrible stuff. A neighbour of mine had it and that was the only way to get rid. I helped him treat it and it has gone and nit come back and that was 4 years ago.

I have the dreaded horsetail too. All u can do is just keep pulling it up, the roots go down forever @brighter

@brighter I forgot to say, it works better if you give it a bit of a scrunch before applying
